UN Nature Based Solutions for water report launched

The UN 2018 World Water Development Report (WWDR), Nature Based Solutions for water was launched via a presentation at the 8th World Water Forum in Brazil on 19th March 2018.

This report demonstrates how "green" Nature Based Solutions can be used alongside or instead of more traditional "grey" man made engineering solutions to address the worlds water challenges, while often delivering many other added benefits which are fundamental to meeting the UN Sustainable development Goals. These benefits include social, economic or environmental  improvement with respect to human health, food and energy security, and ecosystem recovery. The report can be accessed via the link below.
